1. Service provider
MEVENT Suite is provided by Memoir Solutions W.L.L, Kingdom of Bahrain. The service may include event creation, photo upload, AI photo matching, guest registration, QR access, personalised galleries, photo downloads, sponsor placements, watermarks, videos, branded images, and related event engagement features.
2. Acceptance of terms
By using MEVENT Suite, creating an account, uploading photos, registering for an event, making a payment, or accessing a gallery, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Policy.
3. Role of Memoir Solutions W.L.L
Memoir Solutions W.L.L acts as a technology service provider. We provide software tools that allow organisers, photographers, account owners, and clients to manage event photo delivery and engagement. We do not claim ownership of event photos uploaded by organisers, photographers, clients, or account owners.
4. Client, organiser, and account owner responsibilities
The organiser, photographer, client, or account owner is responsible for:
- Having the legal right to upload, store, process, display, and distribute event photos.
- Informing attendees that photography, registration, and AI photo matching may be used.
- Obtaining required consents, permissions, and approvals from attendees, photographers, sponsors, and rights holders.
- Ensuring uploaded photos, videos, sponsor materials, logos, watermarks, and registration fields are lawful and appropriate.
- Managing attendee privacy, photo removal, correction, and consent-related requests where they control the event content.
- Ensuring all provided event information, pricing requirements, billing details, and contact details are accurate.
5. Photo ownership and intellectual property
Memoir Solutions W.L.L does not claim copyright or ownership over uploaded photos, event banners, sponsor creatives, videos, logos, or other content provided by clients or users. Rights remain with the relevant owner, photographer, organiser, client, sponsor, or licensor.
By uploading content, the account owner confirms that they have the rights and permissions required to use that content on MEVENT Suite and grants Memoir Solutions W.L.L a limited permission to store, process, display, match, optimise, watermark, and deliver that content for the purpose of providing the service.
6. AI photo matching
MEVENT Suite may use AI or facial-recognition-based matching to help attendees find event photos in which they may appear. AI matching is provided as an assistance tool and may not always be complete, accurate, or error-free. Results can depend on lighting, image quality, face angle, occlusion, camera quality, and other factors.
Memoir Solutions W.L.L is not responsible for missed matches, incorrect matches, duplicate results, low-quality uploaded images, or limitations caused by source photo quality or organiser-provided content.
7. Payments and packages
Payments confirm the selected MEVENT Suite service, package, or agreed scope. Pricing may vary based on event size, photo volume, registration volume, sponsor requirements, branding, custom development, storage, support, and other agreed requirements.
Payment gateway transactions may be processed through third-party providers. Memoir Solutions W.L.L does not store full customer card details on the static website. Any gateway fees, bank charges, currency conversion, taxes, or third-party charges may be handled according to the payment provider’s rules and the agreed proposal.
8. Custom and corporate services
Corporate, sponsored, white-label, or custom event packages may require a separate proposal, quotation, invoice, statement of work, or written agreement. Where a separate written agreement exists, it will prevail over these Terms for the specific conflicting matter.
9. Refunds and cancellations
Refunds, cancellations, rescheduling, or credit arrangements depend on the agreed package, work completed, third-party costs, event timing, and written agreement with the client. Setup fees, custom work, third-party costs, payment gateway fees, and services already delivered may be non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing.
10. Acceptable use
Users must not use MEVENT Suite to upload, process, display, or distribute content that:
- Violates privacy, copyright, image rights, confidentiality, or other legal rights.
- Contains unlawful, abusive, defamatory, discriminatory, exploitative, or harmful material.
- Includes malware, unauthorised tracking, or attempts to disrupt the service.
- Attempts to access photos, events, accounts, or data without permission.
- Misrepresents sponsorship, ownership, consent, identity, or event authorisation.
11. Suspension or removal
Memoir Solutions W.L.L may suspend access, remove content, disable an event, restrict an account, or refuse service where we reasonably believe there is misuse, unlawful content, security risk, non-payment, breach of these Terms, or risk to attendees, organisers, sponsors, or the platform.
12. Privacy and data protection
Use of MEVENT Suite is also subject to the Privacy Policy. Organisers and account owners must comply with applicable privacy, data protection, photography, copyright, consent, and marketing laws, including Bahrain’s Personal Data Protection Law where applicable.
13. Third-party services
MEVENT Suite integrates third-party services, including cloud hosting (AWS, GCP, Cloudflare), storage ((AWS, GCP, Cloudflare)), email, WhatsApp/SMS, analytics, payment gateways, and support tools. Memoir Solutions W.L.L is not responsible for outages, delays, data handling, fees, policy changes, or failures caused by third-party providers, except where required by applicable law or written agreement.
14. Service availability
Memoir Solutions W.L.L aims to provide a reliable service but does not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or always-available access. Planned maintenance, emergency maintenance, internet issues, cloud provider issues, user device problems, or force majeure events may affect availability.
15. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Memoir Solutions W.L.L is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or loss-of-profit damages arising from use of MEVENT Suite. Memoir Solutions W.L.L is not liable for uploaded content, unauthorised uploads, copyright disputes, missing consents, attendee disputes, sponsor content, or misuse by organisers, photographers, clients, or third parties.
16. Indemnity
The organiser, photographer, client, or account owner agrees to indemnify and hold Memoir Solutions W.L.L harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses arising from uploaded content, lack of permissions, copyright disputes, privacy complaints, unlawful use, or breach of these Terms.
17. Governing law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Bahrain, unless a separate written agreement states otherwise. Any disputes shall be handled through the competent courts or dispute resolution mechanisms agreed in writing.
